Spirit rescue is just going into a place and getting a lost soul to cross into the light.

Gotcha, thanks. Just never heard the term before. Makes perfect sense. Somewhat similar to what paranormal investigators do, but rather than focusing on interests of the living it focuses on the ones who have passed.

Exactly. There used to be a tv show with two British psychics called Rescue Mediums. I loved that show, wish they'd bring it back.
