I would caution anyone who is thinking of purchasing one of these now and converting them. In the last month Radio Shack has changed the design and it no longer uses the same components. Same look, same radio, just can no longer be hacked this way.

So unless you have one thats before 05/01/2011, I would use caution. You may be returning it.
