I suppose it could be. I see a woman in pioneer dress, looking up and reaching up to touch something. I guess it is all a matter of perspective. Interesting thought though.

Can we look at an uncropped version of the photo?

Could be .. The flash approached with the glass? Not to say if we bring the photo ..

Well let me first start by saying that I have talked to the photographer and I really don't think there is any photo-shopping going on here.

But I do have a question. The door, is that a screen door or a glass door? Because it looks like a reflection of something off to the side.

The original photo was posted at

It shows that there is an open screen door creating the texture. The texture creates the effect.

I used no flash and the door is screen and I was told that the screen couldn't create a matrixing of the figure. Also it was in none of the other photos and it was also 11:44 am when I took it.

Also the sun was slightly behind the house on the other side. There is a wall directly behind where the apparition is.

I think it's matrixing as well, just because it is so figure like. Did you take any other photos at the time? On invos we always shoot four or five at a time but I know when you take a picture for other reasons that's not likely. Is the place near you and could you take the same shot perhaps from 15 feet away or so. I for one would be really interested to see the area around it.

Not to sound mean...but who told you that? Screens are a texture and any texture when it is hit by light (i.e. sunlight) can create matrixing.
