Discuss photo: Cape May County Museum Investigation 7/15/12

not sure what to make of this at first i thought it was the shadow from the dress...you tell me.

I don't think it's a dress shadow... that black mass is covering things behind it... you can't actually see through...

If there's a light source from that direction then I would say shadow from the dress. If not, I'm not sure!

I see you used flash, I am actually surprised the photo is not brighter.My question for you is do you have a photo from the other angle ( as in you facing the area in which you took that photo) The blacked out area is interesting, I was just wondering if there would be a probability of anything blocking the flash from where you were standing. Was there any additional lighting in that room (?), if so where was it located? If there was no other lighting or any obstruction to your right unless someone was snapping photos behind you.. I really could not explain it. Also do you have a before/after photo?

but we our going back to see if we can duplicate the photo.

no other light source this was taken in lights out conditions.
