And yes Amanda, it does come across as stagy. When I first started watching it, I did see some good points to learn from.

Now, I think we all can have the opportunity to learn ourselves through trial and error; not to mention the fact that there's a lot of good folks on this site who will help.

HAHAHA!! I love the episodes with "Special guests", they always introduce them as "Our good friend . . . ". Yeah, like you've ever met them before,

"And this is our extra special super duper friend! The Real Housewives of washed up WWE Wrestlers who make special guest appearances on paranormal shows!"

yes I remember that episode also I didn't watch it, it was good in the very beginning but now when they get actors and reality people it just sucks, they seem to want more people to watch or something they went movie star hunters, hehe, that is just my opinion, and Ghost Adventures is heading that way, I don't know why a ghost team if there gonna be on tv just have them and not actors that is what just turns me off and think they don't even take there job serious anymore. oh well, if the Haunted Collector comes back on I hope he don't go with actors cause I really liked that show as well:) to my knowledge I never seen a real ghost hunt team go on a book signing deal maybe I missed one..that is who I would want instead of the ones on tv. that's just me I guess.

glad to know it isn't just me. I know that to have a show you have to have an audience...I see more drama build up and less evidence that impresses me

Haunted Collector . . . I hate that show. Their "evidence" is some of the worst on TV.

I honestly think they just see something cool that they like and voila! There's evidence that that is what's causing all the problems.

Like the episode in the west. NM I think? There was a bar that was having problems. They found a dynamite detonator that was giving off high EMF, so that was the haunted item. Just the tiniest bit of research would have told them that a Plunger style Detonator is FULL of magnets. Of course it's going to give off EMF!

Haunted collector has me confused. My first impression was I hated the show. Then I found out the paranormal community looks up to him as one of the best demonologist there is... So i dont know what to think...

That show confuses me too, but not even from a paranormal perspective. So he locates these items and then takes them off the hands of the previous owners...does he actually pay for them? That part (from the couple of episodes I've seen) doesn't seem clear. Sounds like a good scam he's got going on if he is not paying, but just going in there and claiming items are haunted so he can take them lol.
