TOPIC: Tolomato Cemetery/St. Augustine, Florida

Re: Tolomato Cemetery/St. Augustine, Florida 14 years, 1 month ago #11

Can I upload the cropped photo in Tif format?

I think you can but only in the Photo gallery area. I'm thinking the Forums are probably not going to accept it because they don't do any internal conversion. And most browsers will not display TIFF images.
You can use JPEG with level 12 compression (hardly any compression). That should reduce any artifacts.

Polar, we found the cemetery to be pleasant; and we see the spiritual occupants as friends we haven't met yet. Lol.

CC, I cropped the fork of the tree and there may be something there; but I will let you and the folks decide.

Well, it could definitely be a shadow or a play of the light (hard to tell with the black and white) but there looks like two children in the tree.

Yes Tress, those are what appear to be faces to me as well. One of them [right] could even be a native American.

The figure on the right isn't very clear though I think it could be a boy. The one on the left though, seemed to be a very apple-cheeked little girl with chin-length hair.

Tress, see what is below the limb on the right hand side. This is where I said "maybe" there's a native American. Cut out what's above the limb on the right hand side.

Ok I do see what you're saying now, but not sure if that is its own face or part of the boy's body. The boy I see, his head is above the limb. He's got sort of a grown out buzz cut hair do.

The wife saw that at first too. The little girl was my first find, but who knows; it could even be a little boy with long hair, although it more resembles a girl.

If it hadn't of been for CC, I would have ignored the photo.
