I just downloaded to my SamsungIII the Spirtfone RT EVP App. Seems to work so/so and am happy to have it as a backup to use just in case. My question is this: I have been trying to contact a spirit in my son's ron. Not sure it stays there all the time. (Not sure if a spirit will move back and forth place to place or not? I think I did get a few words here or there using the Spiritfone but really could not be sure. Now it seems that since then, I have had some issues with unusual things happening to me. At work out of the blue a rack of contacts fell on me. (I work for and eye doctor) and things falling down around me at home. Could I have made this spirit upset. Not sure if a spirit will follow a person around from home to work and back or if its just and odd thing that happened. Any thoughts would be happily heard!

Well, to me the answer could be one of several things. On the one hand I've heard and experienced first hand that some spirits tend to want to communicate. When they find someone who they can communicate with and they recognize that they're being heard they will step up their efforts and will flock around you to try to be heard. Also sometimes it may attract others who see the opportunity to be heard and cease the moment so to speak.

Some would call this "Opening a doorway" or "opening a portal". To me its less a portal and more just providing an opportunity. Its the same reason that spirits tend to flock around those who are sensitive, and those who can hear them.

So as such its a possibility that by providing the EVP on a regular basis, you've been seen as that opportunity and have attracted some attention. Its something that all paranormal researchers must be aware of and prepare for. We create the spotlight, and must be prepared to deal with the results.

Its why they warn of Ouija boards and skying or other methods of communication. Its also another reason investigators seldom investigate in their own homes. You don't want something attaching to where you live. You've heard the old saying, don't @#%@# where you eat.

But another option could simply be that, since you're now listening for signs and becoming more aware you could be interpreting some normally unrelated events. Its always good to have someone with you during all investigations. It prevents hyper-sensitization and gives you a sounding board at the same time. There is strength in numbers.

Thanks so much for the response back. I guess I did the one big no-no of talking to spirits at home and alone. I do remember that years ago I was always told not to try to do this alone. Yet here I find myself doing it alone. I guess I never thought that now that I asked for responses that I really have been getting them. I will have someone with me the next time and try again to see if I can reach out and touch someone.

I disagree on connecting spirits in your home. My experience has been positive but I have had training on what to do and what not to do. You have to learn how to open and close . This is taught in person . Look around for a spiritual group and see if they don't conduct mystery classes. Your spirit if you brought him in you have not sent him home. The longest I have had a spirit stay is for a few months . Good Luck

I agree, I've never had a problem with communicating with spirits at home. Being a medium that's par for the course. Spirits will find you if they need help. It could be that someone is trying to get your attention. So what do they want? Do they want help? Just trying to say hi? Maybe they can make their intentions more clear rather than knocking things over? Spirits are pretty good at answering yes or no questions if you are sensitive enough to perceive their answers. Yes comes with more of a high vibrational energy and no comes with a lower vibrational energy. Think of it like the keys on the piano. Even if you could not hear the tone you would be able to perceive the vibrations of the different keys. Hope this helps.
