I would also like to add that an intuitive friend of ours told us that the quartz crystals are self cleansing and will also cleanse other crystals. Not sure if that's true or not, but that's how we do it and seems to be OK.

Is that done by keeping them in the same pouch?

I love you guys!

Paula, Yes I would love direction. I have so many of them on my land. My husband is very supportive of anything I want to do, so he has said he would buy whatever equipment I needed to do something like this.

Tress~ Thank you so much. So many different variations of crystal cleansing. Some spiritualist are adamant that they are cleansed in the ocean but I'm in Missouri and that might be a problem! I'm glad I can do it other ways. Although I would be interested in what energy has manifest itself on this land...hmmmm.

Steven~ That is really very cool. I love the idea that you and your wife are learning to wrap crystals...keep me posted on how it goes.

Annnnnnnnnd I'm still thinking about the BBQ. I'm so hungry!

I keep them out in the open and have the crystals on the quartz. I'm not a big crystal fan mind you. I don't recommend per se those books on crystals that say "This crystal does this". I'm learning through some advice, research, and personal experience.

There's one crystal book that say that Citrine brings prosperity. I'm sorry, but
1)if that were true, all of us would have a pound of Citrine in our pockets and 2)this kind of statement is for marketing. I do believe that there are properties to crystals and have experienced that. Having said that, my wife and I have found similarities in church and metaphysical folks where stuff just comes out of their mouths as if they really know something; when, in reality [and after empirical research], they've just parroted what someone else said and took that opinion as their own facts.

Why have I gone down this trail? Some people on this site I'm sure are big into crystals [others may not be], and while I do like them myself, I don't take anything as TRUTH until I've researched and then experienced it myself. I don't want people taking my word for anything on this site. It's easy to listen to what others say, but don't be lazy and just believe us. Search for truth for yourself. You may find a level of truth that the rest of us haven't touched on.

I agree Steven, love how Pearls are bad luck, well maybe cause so many brides wear them and there are so many divorces

Below are 2 of my favorite pieces
1. Carnelian, Turquoise and Tibetan crystal
2. Tibetan crystal encased in 22 kt gold with Amethyst, Garnet, Fluorite and Lapis. I wear this one 95% of the time

Well put Steve! I am with you in that if Citrine really brought prosperity we'd all have 10 lb. pockets BUT I do believe in Crystal energy...why? I dunno... I am looking forward to experiencing things on my property. Whether that be spiritual or just physical bliss from being in the country. And remember I believe in the idea of faeries so being in the Ozarks surrounded on three sides by water will prove interesting...add the crystals and I'm in heaven!

The gold was from a single earring that my mother gave me years and years ago, always was sad I lost the other one but now I have something special from it
