The Whaley House is a famous haunted location in the Old Town District of San Diego, CA. Being a house, it was also used as a town hall and a courthouse. At some point, hangings were an ordinary occurance and Psychic Sybil Leek reported encounters here back in the 1960's. They even have midnight ghost hunting tours! Regis Philbin being a past visitor, is now a believer....
Haunted Activity: "Yankee Jim" is said to haunt the Whaley House as well as Thomas Whaley and Anna Whaley. Many, if not all, of the Whaley children are reported to have died unnatural deaths in the house. Even a ghost dog is reported as having been experienced by visitors at The Whaley House.
